Bath time is a favorite time in our house. Both of the boys absolutely love taking baths together. The baby is sort of a wild man in the tub — he basically stands up the whole time, so keeping him entertained is key. Charlie helps with that, but we’ve also found some great bath gear and toys to make bath time more fun and a bit easier too.
If Calvin is taking a bath on his own, using our Duck Tub helps keep him a little more contained. Sometimes he is in the duck, and sometimes he is out, but either way it helps keep him in one spot. He also loves to play with (mostly chew) the fish and duck bath toys, which help keep him occupied when we are trying to get him clean.
Both boys love our foam letters. They are great for babies to chew on, and Charlie likes to practice his “spelling.” And my husband and I love the corner toy catch-all basket for storage and the bath caddy for easy access to favorite toys, soap, wash cloths, etc. With two very active boys in the tub, it is important to have everything within sight and quick reach, and the caddy definitely helps with that.
If bath time isn’t one of the best times of day in your house, try adding some toys and tools to make it more convenient. It is a great way to let your kids play together at the end of the day, and makes something that could feel like a chore much more fun. Plus, it means your kids will be sleeping and you’ll be getting a break yourself really soon 🙂
