Are you searching for DIY modern geometric party decor and printables? Then today is your lucky day! I’m thrilled to have the uber-talented Rachel, from Lupa & Pepi guest posting today – she’s sharing modern party decor ideas, complete will free printables and full instructions!
Ciao! I’m Rachel and I design paper goods and party decor for Lupa & Pepi! I’m so thrilled and honored to write a post for Chandra while she’s enjoying some time settling in with her new baby! Chandra and I share a love of stationery. In fact, some of you may remember a blog post that Chandra wrote about a year ago where we collaborated on her moving announcements. Well, our collaboration inspired an entire matching set of personalized paper goods called Geometrica (available in Lupa & Pepi’s Shop!) which includes stationery and party paper goods too! So, when Chandra asked me to do a guest post, I knew that Geometrica party decor DIYs were in order!
Every party can be spruced up with some matching party decor! Here are two DIYs (with downloadable instructions and templates!) that are super simple — in fact if you have some little ones running around, they could lend a hand with putting these together!
DIY GEOMETRICA GARLAND BACKDROP
This Geometrica backdrop is perfect for a photo booth background or would be wonderful as the backdrop for a dessert table! It’s easy to make — with just some folding and cutting you’ll have triangles that you can use to create a pattern inspired by the Geometrica triangle print. We used twine but if you’d like the triangles to appear like they are floating, use fishing line instead! The step-by-step instructions and printable templates for the garland backdrop are available for download here.
DIY GEOMETRICA TREAT BOX
With some ingredients that you probably already have at home (white paper, scissors and a glue stick!) you can quickly whip up some of these Geometrica Treat Boxes! They’re small enough for finger foods at a cocktail party or sweet treats displayed on a dessert bar. They can even be personalized with your guests’ names and used as place cards or favor containers! The step-by-step instructions and printable templates for the treat boxes are available for download here.
The bold color palette from Geometrica invitations can also serve as wonderful inspiration for the rest of your party accoutrements — navy blue napkins, light blue paper straws, pink paper plates, etc.! Tie it all together with some Geometrica personalized coasters!! (They can say anything you want! They’re so fun!) And if you enjoyed these party decor DIYs, there’s more where that came from!
Congratulations to the Fredrick family! Can’t wait to meet Baby Fredrick, Part Deux!
