Since it is one of my favorite things, I wanted to revisit the idea of a cheese table at your wedding. What could be better than serving cheese at your wedding? I mean, it’s CHEESE! Whether you’re having a low-key backyard wedding or a fancy classic and cool feté, you can include a cheese display. Or if you don’t think it quite fits in with your wedding style, try it for the rehearsal dinner. The above photo is perfect for a cocktail hour cheese display, and below are a few other ways to do a cheese table at your wedding.
You could have a cheese display table with chalkboard descriptions of the cheeses set up during cocktail hour. Or, if cake isn’t your thing, you can have a cheese wheel cake in lieu of wedding cake (just be sure to serve some other desserts.)
If you’re having a low-key picnic-style wedding reception, say in your backyard, you could set up a cute table with cheese displayed for guests, with a cute sign like the photo above.
The best venue for a cheese table would be a vineyard wedding. You could display the cheeses and give suggested pairings with a wine the vineyard offers or that you’re serving at the bar. It is like a mini-wine and cheese tasting at your wedding. Perfect for foodies!
Do you love the idea of a cheese display table at weddings? How would you include cheese?
