The planning of this wedding was a family affair. The bride lives in a remote town near Yosemite with very little internet access, so aside from a few requests (like the Talking Heads tribute band ‘Same as it Ever Was”) she let her mother plan the entire wedding at her parent’s home. And if you ask me, her mother should start a wedding business, because she did a fabulous job herself & in hiring the perfect vendors to bring her vision to a reality. This is one of my favorite weddings I’ve featured, so sit down with a coffee or iced tea and enjoy this swoon-worthy, pin-every-photo wedding, and be inspired!
Here’s more from the bride on the DIY elements: I handmade heart shaped birdseed favors because my husband and I love bird watching. My mom and a friend made pillow cases in yellow and gray to cover some of the outdoor furniture pillows and coordinate with the theme. I handmade the signs that went with the favors and guesbook using extra invitations I had left over.
SO amazing, right? Love the color palette (one of my favorites!), and mixed with patterned pillows and graphic elements on the stationery and signs it is absolute perfection. The florals are fab, the styling is ridiculously gorg, and all of the personal details are just icing, on a cheese wheel cake! I’d like to give every person and vendor involved with the execution of this lovely wedding a standing ovation. Join me by leaving a comment of your favorite part of this wedding!

Thanks for featuring this amazing wedding, it was so fun to plan, our company had a ball! (Details Weddings & Events)
I loved every minute of it and will remember it always as the most fun and best weekend I’ve had in years! I felt like a member of this lovely family!
I love the BM dresses! Were they bought from ETSY??
Steph, I’ll check with the bride on where she got her bridesmaid dresses. It may take a while, because she has limted email access where she lives.
So the bride got back to me with the info on bridesmaids dresses & the flower girl dress:
Bridesmaid dress were Watters Dress 9539 Falcon and Goldenrod
The flower girl dress was purchased on etsy

Love everything about this wedding! The birdseed favors are a favorite idea of mine too since I’m a big birdwatcher like the bride. Gorgeous couple! Congrats to you both!
Thank you so much for getting that information for me!
This is a simple wedding party yet very chic and fun. I love these photos….
I so much enjoyed looking at the picture of these couple with that red pig as the bride’s hat… so funny but cute! 🙂
This is a beautiful wedding! I’m curious as to where she purchased her shoes from! They are awesome and exactly what I’m looking for! Any idea?
I’ll try to get in touch with the bride and see if I can find out for you!
Thanks so much!
They were perfect! And the flower girl dresses were actually made my a family relative. She did an amazing job on them!
