This wedding had me with the DIY details and the sweet little girls. Jill’s three daughters were very involved in the wedding and they are just too adorable for words!
I mean, seriously, HOW CUTE are those little girls!? And I love this family photo at the end! Here’s a little bit from Jill, the bride, on how they made their wedding “THEM”:
We had fun personalizing the wedding with a few DIY projects: spray painting mason jars and accenting with lace trim, decorating the reception tables with runners made out of plastic lace tablecloths from US Toy, the blessing tree with lights that had cards that we stamped with the T+J, the florist did moss initials with beautiful ribbon, my maid of honor made all kinds of things including a flower basket for my daughter out of an old hat, a sign for my junior bridesmaid that read “here comes the bride” on one side and had our theme T + J on the other side.
The day was so amazing but I think my favorite moment was the time right before the wedding where we spoke andtouched hands but didn’t see each other as we stood on opposite sides of a door, the anticipation of seeing each other and becoming husband and wife – and the picture that captured that moment is priceless to me.
I love the sweet personal details and how included the daughters were in this wedding. Just precious! What do you think? What part is your favorite?

Beautiful wedding. love the touch of the wish tree and engraved spoons. But why are they spelling out the word “Dykes” in family photo at the end? I am really hoping this is their last name..?
Thank you, Oh Lovely Day for featuring this sweet story, our photos and the hard work of many people!
Also, thanks to my wonderful assistant photographer, Tiffany Sauser!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this color scheme! So soft and beautifully done.
Such a sweet wedding. Love those three little dresses hanging. The wedding concept is simply romantic.
Had such a blast meeting with the bride and helping to bring her ideas into reality. So many wonderful people coming together to help and witness this truly touching union. Thank you oh-so-lovely for posting this and to the wonderful photographer who captured all of this.

Absolutely adore the elegant combination of blush pink and grey. What a beautiful, romantic wedding xo
What is Dykes in the last photo? Anyway, they have a precious wedding and it’s so cute that daughters of the bride were helping her with the wedding. Indeed they are so cute. I love the colors because it’s too soft. Love is in the air. Groomsday
Lovely romance scenes, thanks for sharing.
Dykes is actually the groom’s last name (and now Jill’s)…but NOT the girls. They have a dad, and his last name is not Dykes.
Relax, Anonymous! It is pretty obvious that the girls came before this wedding.
