Happy Friday again my lovely friends!  I feel like this week seriously FLLLEEEEEEEEW by!   The last two did actually.  I realized I hadn’t yet told you about my WPPI experience when I started blogging about The Cream Event that I went to last night.  But now it is almost midnight as I’m writing this and I just want to crawl in bed already (what is it about a pillowtop king sized bed that makes you just want to LIVE in it!?)  So, real quick:

First, today is the last day to vote for my ‘gilded’ bundle in Lover.ly’s bundle up contest.  If I win I get $500 to Nordstrom, and if you could see inside my closet you would know how much I need it (think half super outdated pre-pregnancy clothes, half maternity or fatter version of me clothes, none that really work, fit, or look cool anymore.)  So please please please, go vote for me {here} and spread the word to everyone in your twitter feed, facebook page, and neighborhood to vote too!  🙂

I went to WPPI in Vegas last week and met some awesome photographers and some wedding bloggers.  It was so fun to finally meet Alison of The Knotty Bride, who was my partner in crime in Vegas, Lydia of Ever Ours, Summer of Grey Likes Weddings and so many more!  Here is Alison and I (I’m on the left) at the Prohibition Party:

My dress is from Asos and that FAB headband was from
etsy seller Baroque and Roll and can be found here!

And last night was The Cream Event in LA – where some really great wedding vendors showed off their creativity and gave yummy treats to those in attendance.  I loved the paper pretties from Wiley Valentine, the vintage touches from Found, the neon theme (I told you neon was going to be BIG this year!), and the tunes spun by The Flashdance, to name a few!  Here is a little instagram photo dump from the party for you, in case you couldn’t attend.

{top row was a table done by Canvas and Canopy & florals by La Partie Events / some fab confetti systems, neon lights, and Found chairs in the middle row / neon embroidery hoop decor at the Wiley Valentine booth, Geronimo Balloons, and lights in front of the Ban.do booth in the bottom row}
I got a great swag tote bag with some really awesome stuff inside, but when I looked at it I realized a bride-to-be would really enjoy and benefit from it more, because it has so much great vendor info, discounts, coupons, etc.  But it has some really great swag too (think cute neon nail polish, a pretty hair accessory, a cool boutonniere, chocolates, matches, and much more!)  So, I’m going to give it away to a lucky reader.
Now, you don’t have to be a Southern California bride-to-be to win, but unless you are you might not benefit from this as much because they are mostly local vendors involved.  So everyone can enter, but just know that is what you’re getting.
To enter, just leave a comment to this post telling me why you want the bag, where you live, and your email so I can contact you if you win.  One entry per person, the contest ends on 3/8 at 8:00 pm PST, and I’ll announce the winner on 3/9!
Ok, now for the weekly wrap-up:
{monday} my oscar best dressed with some bridal hair translations
{tuesday} if you love bridesmaids in cowboy boots, you’ll love this Texas wedding.
{wednesday} this wedding gets my vote for prettiest florals ever!
{thursday} this personal and quirky wedding has a star wars cake topper.
And my weekly One Wed posts this week:
And don’t forget, go vote for ‘gilded‘!  Have a lovely weekend.  xx
