Now that school is back in session and activities and hectic schedules are back in full swing, I’m looking for ways to simplify things as much as possible. I’m back to meal planning and preparing things ahead of time. The instant pot has been put back into rotation. Evenings are the toughest — with meals, homework, activities, and bath and bedtime routines for three kids of different ages and stages. My older sons are now taking showers instead of baths but my youngest still takes a bath, and usually needs one daily. So anything that simplifies that bath and bedtime routine is a lifesaver for me.
Quincy’s long locks have become a highlight in my house and my instagram feed. But those same locks require more maintenance than most toddler haircuts. He needs a shampoo and conditioner, and one that helps detangle but is also gentle and safe for little eyes and bodies. That’s why I’m thrilled that JOHNSON’S® Baby reformulated their line of products and are now gentler than ever. With 50% fewer ingredients, that are 90% naturally derived, I can feel good about using them on my little ones. The products are free of parabens, sulfates, and phthalates, and they are dye free. JOHNSON’S® Head-To-Toe Baby Wash & Shampoo is our go to gentle cleansing product. The JOHNSON’S® No More Tears formula makes this baby wash tear-free and as gentle to your baby’s eyes as pure water, which is so important. Plus, no burning eyes means a more cooperative little one in the bath! Because it is pH balanced it can be used as both a baby shampoo and body wash and is gentle enough for both, and is pediatrician tested.
Because of Quincy’s long hair, we also use JOHNSON’S® No More Tangles 2-in-1 Shampoo & Conditioner. It unlocks knots and tangles with the ease of a 2-in-1. Like the baby wash it too is free of parabens, sulfates, dyes, and phthalates and is a tear-free formula. It works so well on Quincy’s long hair, cleansing and conditioning and helping me to be able to comb out his wet hair with no knots or tears.
Because JOHNSON’S® Baby products are now so gentle all I need to do is use a little JOHNSON’S® Bedtime Lotion after Quincy’s bath. It is made with the same no parabens-no phthalates-no dyes gentle formula and moisturizes Quincy’s skin. I like to give him a gentle massage as I rub it on him, helping him to relax before bedtime.
It also simplifies my life that I can find these products, as well as other health and wellness products for our whole family, at CVS. CVS is our family pharmacy and I’ve been a customer for 20+ years (my extracare card is so OLD!), so finding JOHNSON’S® Baby reformulated products there is a major convenience. I can just run down the street to our local CVS or stock up when I am there to pick up a prescription rather than having to make a special trip somewhere or order products online and wait days for them to arrive.
Right now you can take advantage of a special promotion at CVS: Buy 1, Get 1 50% off on JOHNSON’S® Baby + Spend $20, Get $5 ExtraBucks. So now is the time to stock up and save!
