As a mother, I cannot imagine a baby not receiving the love and care they need to thrive. I look at my sweet boys and want to protect them and do anything in my power to help them live their best lives. It is a universal feeling as a parent I think. Part of that wish to provide all they need is having the diapers and supplies necessary to keep them clean, dry, and healthy. And if you have a baby yourself you know — those tiny humans go through a lot of diapers!
I’ve loved Huggies since day one. I’ve tried other diapers for one reason or another but I always stick with Huggies because they fit my boys well and can hang with their very active days, and they keep them clean and dry. Huggies are the diapers that my boys have always been the happiest and most comfortable in. Plus, they have the cutest little Disney designs. There are two types of Huggies we use:
- Huggies Snug & Dry: Features four layers to absorb moisture quickly and offers up to 12 hours of protection for more quality time with baby. Additionally, Huggies Snug & Dry diapers feature a wetness indicator that lets parents know when it’s time for a diaper change and also include fun, Disney designs featuring Mickey Mouse. Huggies Snug & Dry diapers are available for newborns up to Size 6. (Quincy is about to grow out of Size 6 and I’m so sad about it!)
- Huggies Little Movers: Designed for active babies, these diapers feature the Moving Baby System with a contoured shape and Double Grip Strips that hold the diaper in place during active play. They provide a comfortable fit designed to move with baby. Huggies Little Movers are available in Sizes 3-6.
Another reason I love Huggies is their mission to give back. As the founding sponsor of the National Diaper Bank Network since 2011, Huggies through its No Baby Unhugged program has provided ongoing support for the organization and has donated more than 200 million diapers and baby wipes, including critical donations during times of crisis, to those in diaper need. In September, the National Diaper Bank Network and Huggies announced a study, ‘Diaper Need and Its Impact on U.S. Families’, revealing that one-in-three U.S. families (36%) continue to struggle with diaper need. Roughly three-in-four (73%) feel they’re not being good parents when their children are left too long in a dirty diaper, while one third of households in need experience feeling stressed or overwhelmed by diapering always or often. Of families in diaper need, three-in-five parents (57%) miss work or school due to a lack of sufficient diapers required by childcare, day care or early education programs to care for a baby or toddler. It breaks my heart to think of those parents who struggle with diaper need and the stress that it brings. Huggies feels the same way, which is why for every pack of Huggies purchased at Meijer through December 23, Huggies will donate a day’s worth of diapers and Meijer will donate $1 to the National Diaper Bank Network. How amazing is that!? You can find both the Huggies Little Movers and the Huggies Snug & Dry diapers next to each other in the diaper aisle at your local Meijer.
