{Ad Sales Manager}

Oh Lovely Day has a family of sponsors who help support our blog and keep us lovely.  We’re looking for an Ad Sales Manager who will be responsible for managing OLD’s advertising accounts and Vendor Guide.  In addition to maintaining relationships with current sponsors, you will be in charge of targeting new, brand-appropriate sponsors. Applicants must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, must be motivated and be proactive and able to take initiative in signing new sponsors.


-A familiarity with Oh Lovely Day is required so you know what our brand is about and what sponsors are a good fit.  A love of weddings is a plus.

-Remote position – Must have your own computer, access to reliable internet, email, and a phone.

-Flexible schedule, but looking for commitment of 10-15+ hours a week.

-B.A. in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or related field

-One to five years of ad sales experience required, preferably with a corporate ad agency or another website or blog

-Proven track record in online media sales and print sales

-Strong written and oral communication skills

-Professional, friendly demeanor

-Strong knowledge of social media

-Strong knowledge of the wedding industry


Position is commission based.

{Editorial Interns}

I’m looking for one or two smart, creative, and energetic interns to join Oh Lovely Day.  These are 3-5 month internships (unpaid, so school credit is preferred – you must make these arrangements yourself) with the potential for growth and paid editorial position upon completion of the internship.  You’ll also enjoy perks like invites to fun LA area events, getting to work with fabulous wedding vendors, testing and seeing new products and samples, and an invaluable learning experience.

You will work on various aspects of the site, including, but not limited to:

-assisting in creating content (would like to give you one post a week to create yourself if/when work I feel your work is ready)

-designing layouts, boards, and graphics that accompany content and pairing photos for real wedding features

-implementing content into WordPress and on social media channels

-emailing vendors and featured couples

-responding to submissions

-assisting with social media

-creating an editorial schedule

-assisting in organization


-Proficiency in Photoshop and WordPress are required.

-Knowledge of HTML code and SEO is a plus.

-MUST be a strong writer with a fun, witty personality.

-Proactive and good at multitasking.

-Must be organized and able to assist with organization.

-Must be creative and able to allow your personality to shine in your writing.

-A love of pretty photos, design, typography, style, etc. a must, and a love of weddings is a plus.

-Craftiness is a bonus – we do create original DIY projects for publication. Ability to come up with and create your own DIY projects and ideas is a huge plus!

-Experience with twitter, facebook, pinterest, instagram, & google + required.

-Currently maintains your own blog (or able to demonstrate proficiency in above in sample blog posts)

-Must be able to work 10-15 hours a week.

-On site intern given top priority (Los Angeles) but the right candidate will be considered if remote.
