I’ve got such a fun feature for you today. This bride was having a destination wedding with just close family, so her girlfriends decided to throw her a “wilderness” bachelorette party. A photoshoot is such a fun bachelorette idea, don’t you think!? Luckily, one of these lovely ladies is married to a fab photographer, Chris Simons, who documented the whole thing!
A little from the bride’s bestie (and wife of the photographer!):
My father-in-law’s country lot was the perfect location for a “wilderness party”, and we dressed it up with a DIY teepee (not an easy project!), a picnic table covered with burlap and succulents, and a big campfire with tree stump seats. My friend Jessica hand-made the gorgeous headpieces and we all wore summer dresses and our favorite pair of boots to add to the theme.
We started the evening with a fun photoshoot (which I highly recommend for every bachelorette party!). The rest of the night was spent feasting, playing games, roasting marshmallows, a little dancing, and a lot of celebrating our bride to be.
So fun, right? This bride is one lucky girl to have such sweet girlfriends! And to me, this beats a drunken night in Vegas any day. Although…that’s fun too 🙂

I drop a leave a response whenever I especially enjoy a article
on a site or if I have something to add to the conversation.
It is triggered by the passion communicated in the post I looked
at. And after this post Boho Chic Wilderness Bachelorette Party
| Oh Lovely Day. I was excited enough to drop a thought 🙂 I actually do have some questions for you if you
do not mind. Is it just me or does it appear like a few of these remarks look as if they are written by brain dead visitors?
😛 And, if you are posting at additional online sites, I’d
like to keep up with everything new you have to post.
