I have a penchant for color. Every shade, hue and saturation. And, when Chandra asked me to create a lovely board for her readers while she’s off enjoying her vacation, I jumped at the chance. Why? Well, for obvious reasons, she’s an absolute sweetheart. But, any chance to share another color combo is one to take advantage of.
Navy, Kelly Green and White. I love (yes, love) this palette for so many reasons. It’s easy to add a classic spin on this. Or, take a modern approach by using copious amounts of white with subtle hints of greens and blues. Or, knock the saturation down some, and you have the perfect vintage palette. This particular combination is the perfect balance of modern and classic. Strong blues and greens, and crisp white to allow the colors to pop.

I had subdued colors at my wedding, but I have absolutely fallen in love with bold colors in the last couple years. I love seeing them scattered with white, like those lanterns! The right textures can make a rich and bold color still feel light, too.
