This DIY is perfect for making a silhouette alone, or a silhouette pumpkin for your fall wedding or home porch decor. I’m sort of OBSESSED with this. I’ve wanted to do just a silhouette of my little one for a while now (but who can get a 10 month old to sit still to get a good profile pic!?) and now I want to do a family of silhouette pumpkins for our porch. And for those having a fall wedding, I think this might be THE perfect little detail to add, and so easy to do!

What you’ll need:
– computer and printer
– white printer paper
– medium to large pumpkin (orange or white, but I think white would look best)
– black acrylic paint
– stick pins
– small flat craft paint brush and small tipped detail paint brush
– scissors
– hot glue gun and glue sticks
– optional: black lace, fabric, or beads for border of silhouette

If you just want to do a paper silhouette, for home decor, stationery, or some little wedding details, another great silhouette DIY can be found here on Design Sponge. You can do wedding signage, home decor, and I think these would make great gifts too!

Do you love silhouettes as much as I do?
Suuuuper cute idea!!
This is seriously a fabulous idea!!
so cool, great idea!
I saw this on Pinterest and now every time I pass a pumpkin I think of all the fun things I could do! I hate carving them as I nearly lose a finger every time so things like this are perfect!
so cute and festive.
